Accelerated BSN Requirements at
Tulane University

Tulane’s aBSN program can facilitate your success if you feel called to a nursing career. You do not need prior healthcare experience to be eligible but must meet the following accelerated BSN requirements:

• A minimum of 60 undergraduate credit hours from an accredited institution
• A minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 3.0
• Completion of core curriculum requirements
• Completion of nursing major prerequisite course requirements within seven years of applying to the accelerated BSN program
• Received a cumulative nursing major prerequisite GPA of 3.0 with a grade of ‘C’ or better in any one course

Submit Your Application

In addition to the accelerated BSN requirements stipulated above, you must provide official transcripts and complete a personal video for submission. Your admission counselor can guide you throughout the process, help you meet the program’s requirements and make your application as competitive as possible.

Once you are ready, review your application with your admission counselor and submit it by the deadline for your target start date.
