Nursing Admission for Tulane’s ABSN

Our 16-month accelerated nursing program makes earning your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and launching your nursing career possible. If you meet our nursing admission requirements, you can apply to one of our accelerated BSN program’s three start dates a year: January, May, or September.

Our nursing admission requirements include:

  • A minimum of 60 undergraduate, non-nursing credits from an accredited institution with a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Successful completion of nursing major prerequisite courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a grade of ‘C’ or better in any one course.
  • Official transcripts for all accredited institutions attended
  • A video submission
  • Meet the program’s technical standards

The nursing admission application process begins with contacting the admission office where you are assigned an admission counselor. Then, you will focus on meeting the admission requirements and gathering all necessary application materials.

Per LAC 46v47.3517.B qualified applicants shall be considered for admission without discrimination and in compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
