Message from the Dean

Since its founding in 1843, Tulane University has been committed to educating tomorrow’s healthcare leaders. Our Program of Nursing will continue this commitment by preparing highly competent, compassionate and skilled nurses who work and lead with integrity and sound clinical judgment.

Our mission is to serve our community by improving health outcomes across the lifespan for all populations. We strive to foster this commitment in our students throughout their education.

With a respected reputation as a leading research university, Tulane proudly offers an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (aBSN) program in New Orleans to provide a holistic approach to nursing education, embracing research-based theory and knowledge in nursing, the arts, humanities, and other sciences.
