Accelerated Nursing Program in
New Orleans
If you feel called to become a nurse and ready to start the journey, Tulane University’s 16-month accelerated nursing program in New Orleans can help you meet your goal. With three start dates a year, you can earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) sooner than you think.
Our accelerated BSN program for non-nurses utilizes a hybrid curriculum combining three components: online learning; hands-on, on-site skills labs and simulation experiences; and clinical rotations. We developed our curriculum with the following goals in mind:
- To develop highly competent and compassionate BSN-prepared nurses, ready to enter the workforce.
- To prepare nurses to function independently and collaboratively in team-based patient care across the lifespan.
- Instill students with a commitment to their community and community health outcomes.
- To support students through a robust student support structure with tangible and accessible services.
Upon completing the program, students can confidently take the Next Generation National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and earn their nursing license.
